Julien Giami is a digital artist, photographer and film-maker, passionate by music and cinema.
Right after graduation, Giami started working as a Nuke visual effect compositor on over 50 national and international feature films. Fascinated by the movie industry, Giami also had the opportunity to assist on set on major French feature films such as Entre amis de Olivier Baroux ; Brice de Nice 3 de James Huth ; L’odeur de la mandarine de Gilles Legrand. Loving to work closely with directors and creative teams, Giami often supervises VFX directly on set.
In 2017, Giami directed his first short movie, LETRE, selected for the Short Film Corner of the Cannes Festival in 2018.
For the past three years, Giami has been working as a digital artist and VFX supervisor on a wide variety of commercials for prestigious luxury brands such as Chanel, Dior, Omega, Cartier, or L’Oreal.
Inspired by music, Giami directed several music video. He was commissioned by rap singer Loveni from Bon Gamin, to direct 3 video clips. In 2018, Giami supervised the VFX for David Halliday music video, Ma Dernière Lettre.
Giami is currently working on various new projects for musicians and fashion brands, fluidly moving from VFX to image-making and back.
